Banff, AB - Banff residents can learn more about upcoming major projects at Connect 2015 open house, Tuesday, March 10, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Fenlands recreation centre.
The annual open house will feature a range of projects, with interactive, informative displays and Town staff on hand to answer questions and take in comments and feedback.
This year's Connect features more on the transportation master plan, including the results of the 2014 user-pay parking trial and the long-term transportation study, plus measures to manage an anticipated increase in summer traffic; the solar incentive program, with details on how homeowners can apply for assistance in bringing solar power to their rooftops; the final draft of the trails, programs and services and the recreation grounds master plans; more information on the housing strategy and housing levy.
Your opinion will be sought on how you want to learn about new development in Banff, plus ways to connect with each other, while unplugging the digital device.
The seniors bus service will be available, and light refreshments will be served. The open house is free and everyone is welcome.
