Notice of Public Hearing
Bylaw 404 – Land Use Bylaw Amending Bylaw – Driveway Width and RNC: North Central District Design Regulations
Date of Hearing: Tuesday, November 13, 2018
Place of Hearing: Town of Banff Town Hall Council Chamber, 110 Bear Street, Banff
Time of Hearing: 2 p.m.
The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to increase the maximum width of a driveway off a lane from 40% of the lot width to 60% and to remove the requirement that 50% of required parking in the RNC: North Central District must be in a garage or underground.
Submitting Your Comments
A Public Hearing provides an opportunity for members of the public to provide feedback to Council on a proposed bylaw. Any member of the public may submit comments to Council at the public hearing, either in writing, in person or both.
Speak at the Meeting
To register in advance to speak, call 403.762.1209. Notices of verbal presentations received prior to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018, will be included in the agenda. People who have registered in advance are heard first. At the meeting, you will have the option of having your name added to the list of speakers. Presentation time is limited to five minutes for each speaker.
Provide Written Comments
Digital written submissions are encouraged. Written submission received by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 5, 2018, will be included in the agenda package for the meeting. Written submissions received after this date but before the close of the public hearing will be provided to council at the public hearing.
