FireSmart work to reduce the risk of wildfire entering the townsite will be taking place in the Town of Banff over the next 2-3 months, starting Monday, January 14. Crews will be cutting and burning branches and deadfall at various locations. You may notice smoke in the area, or hear chainsaws during this work.
