The Town of Banff is partnering with Parks Canada on May 8 to conduct a full-day emergency exercise based on a wildfire approaching the town.
The exercise will include command centre training, based in the Fire Hall and Town Hall, and first responders deploying on the south side of the river.
Prepare for the wildfire exercise by signing up for the emergency alert at
banff.ca/alert, which will be tested on May 8. Create your evacuation plan and emergency kit by visiting
