Parking Proposal Survey

If you missed the Parking Proposal Workshop last week, there’s still an opportunity to give your input on the plan. Take the survey at banffviewpoints.ca/parking. It should take between 5 and 10 minutes to complete.

Farmers Market vendors notification

Past and prospective vendors for the Farmers Market in Banff can sign up now to be notified of the result of the Farmers Market Operator Selection process. To learn more, visit banff.ca/farmersmarket.


Homegrown community art show 

Applications are now being accepted for the Homegrown Art Show. All Bow Valley residents can apply regardless of age or skill level. Deadline is February 15 and the opening reception is March 6. Visit banff.ca/homegrown to download an application.

New Indoor Activities

Free and low cost indoor winter activities and community spaces. Drop-in, no registration required. Below are a few of the new activities:

Tinkering Time

Work on a project, fix something broken, complete a design or upcycle an old item at Tinkering Time, held Saturdays, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at 214 Banff Avenue, lower level of the Community Foundation, enter through the back doors. Some materials and tools are provided, or you can bring your own. All ages welcome. Parent participation required for those 13 and younger.


Cookie Kitchen with Shirley

Miss the smell of home baked cookies? Help bake or just eat! Shirley will have a new recipe every week using some Food Rescue supplies. Wednesdays, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m., 101 Bear Street.

What Lights You Up?

Banff Central Park Gazebo

Right from the Start and the Bow Valley Primary Care Network invite you to a lantern lit walk through Central Park to celebrate community, connection and what lights us up inside! Meet at 6:30 p.m. at the gazebo, and then walk begins at 6:45 p.m. Free hot chocolate will be provided! Please bring your own mug and lantern.

Guided Winter Walks

2:30 – 4 p.m. or 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Bundle up for a winter walk with a Parks Canada guide. Come prepared to experience the wonder and cold of the season as you search for signs of Banff’s winter wildlife. Register in person a Parks Canada Visitor Centre staff on Banff Avenue by 12 p.m. the day of the walk.
