Help visitors, come prepared

As we welcome visitors, please take the opportunity to recommend they plan ahead and prepare personal COVID-19 kits to ensure the essentials are available when needed.

While the Town has placed hand-sanitizing stations around downtown and created pedestrian zones to allow for more social distancing, everyone is encouraged to bring a COVID-19 kit with:

• hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol solution
• disinfecting wipes for high-touch surfaces (they are hard to find in Banff)
• water for each individual in your party (water fountains are not turned on)
• ready-to-use masks or face coverings carried in sealed bags
• Alberta health care cards

Thank you for helping to keep Banff safe. For more information, visit banff.ca/COVIDkit.

Maple Leaf

Happy Canada Day!

This July 1, we must celebrate safely,
apart but together.

Visit banff.ca/CanadaDay for online content that reminds us why Banff is unique.

Everyone in town is encouraged to step outside and sing O Canada together with the bells at St. George in the Pines at 10 a.m. Then listen out your window for additional ringing of the bells at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Please send a message of hope and support to the rest of Canada on July 1 by sharing photos of our special place with a message of #ToCanadaLoveBanff

Stay 2 metres away from others, wash your hands frequently, stay home if you’re sick, wear a mask in public spaces and be kind and considerate during this challenging time.
