New affordable housing opportunity

The Town of Banff is developing a new residential complex with 33 dwellings in the heart of downtown Banff to provide below-market, for-purchase housing for eligible Banff residents. Dwellings will be sold by the Banff Housing Corporation. We expect the demand for these homes to exceed the available units.

Grade 6, 7, & 8 register for March 5 Mountain Adventurers

Spots are still available for the March 5 Mountain Adventure program. This PD Friday activity is Skiing and Snowboarding at Norquay. Bus pickups from Banff Elementary School at 12:15 p.m. and returns at 4 p.m. Register by March 3, by calling 403.762.1251 or visit banff.ca/register. Adjusting to Life in Canada

Discussion will be in Tagalog with Filipino experts covering successful integration of Filipino and Canadian cultures, living apart during the immigration process, reuniting as a family in Canada, and parenting in Canada. Help Prevent the Spread

• Keep a 2-metre/6-foot distance (about the length of a ski pole in your outstretched arm) from everyone not in your household, whether you are inside or outside
  
  
• No indoor social gatherings are permitted in any setting. Outdoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people, and 2 metres between people from different households must be maintained.
  
  
• Stay home if you feel sick – this is the law – you must  stay home for 10 days and should arrange testing if you have a COVID symptom 
  
  
• Stay home for 14 days if you are notified that you have been in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID
  
  
• Wear a mask in public places – and wear it properly over your nose and chin
  
  
• Wash or sanitize your hands frequently (note some hand sanitizers are not rated to work when cold)
