Registration open for summer camps

Summer Fun and Summer Specialty camps are crafted for children and youth from kindergarten to Grade 10, and are focused on creating experiences, memories, and skills that last a lifetime! Chose from weekday camps for those up to Grade 6, or from specialty camps including skateboarding, wilderness survival, and kayaking for those in Grades 4 – 10. Registration is currently open to Banff residents, and will open to all Bow Valley residents on June 9. Visit banff.ca/Kids to learn more, and for information on how to register.

Join the Banff Community Art Committee

Share your passion and expertise on the Community Art Committee, which advises council on how to enhance the Banff town site through installation of public art. Members are volunteers and meet on the third Tuesday of every month. Visit banff.ca/Committees to learn more and apply. Applications are due Friday, June 11 at 4:30 p.m.


Family Resource Network

The Family Resource Network has monthly workshops and sessions covering healthy relationships, youth grief counseling, parenting, fitness, and more. To learn more about this month's sessions, visit banff.ca/FamilyResourceNetwork.


Parenting Information Series

Presented by Settlement Counsellors and Educators
Monday Evenings, June 7 – June 28, 7 – 8 p.m.

These free online workshops will cover cross-cultural parenting, coping with parenting in a new country, managing family stress, setting routines and boundaries, and building healthy parent-child relationships. Attend one session, or attend them all! Registration is required for each workshop. Help Prevent the Spread. Book your vaccination.

As of June 1, Alberta has entered stage one of the Open for Summer Plan. Be kind, be safe, and do your part to prevent the spread as restrictions are eased through the month of June.

  • Wear a mask in public places – and wear it properly over your nose and chin

  • Keep a 2-metre/6-foot distance (about the length of a ski pole in your outstretched arm) from everyone not in your household, whether you are inside or outside

  • No indoor social gatherings are permitted in any setting. Outdoor gathings are limited to five people.

  • Stay home if you feel sick – this is the law – you must  stay home for 10 days and should arrange testing if you have a COVID symptom
