Garbage and Recycling Survey
Almost 70% of waste created by Banff residents gets trucked to a landfill outside of the national park. This takes away valuable land, uses tax dollars, and greenhouse gases from landfills contribute to climate change. We need Banff residents to help us improve the use of neighborhood food scraps and recycling bins and develop other strategies to move towards zero waste going to landfill by 2050. Please share your viewpoint, and take the survey at banffviewpoints.ca.
