Town of Banff Information

Help shape recreation centre future

We’re looking for feedback on concepts showing new recreation space and programs for The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre. Phase 2 public engagement on renewal options has an online survey and public sessions on Aug. 10, 11, 16, 20, 21 and 25. Find out locations and times or provide input online at BanffViewpoints.ca.

Want do you think about garbage & recycling, and the RCMP?

We want your viewpoints on garbage and recycling services, and bear-proof bins to eliminate the 70% of waste created by Banff residents that goes straight to landfill. Also, see our community's response to the Banff RCMP survey on policing and communications. Both are available at banffviewpoints.ca.

Be Kind. Be Safe.

Help Prevent the Spread. Book your vaccination.

Be kind and respectful to others. We are all finding our way to return to normal, and our community has a way to go before we are all fully immunized.

The Town of Banff has removed the mandatory mask bylaw, but masks are recommended in crowded situations where you cannot stay 2 metres apart.

Book your vaccine today. Visit banff.ca/COVIDhelp for local vaccine locations. Banff pharmacies, medical clinics and the Banff Community Health Centre have appointments available. If you know someone who needs help booking a vaccine due to language, literacy or visual barriers, contact help@banff.ca or call 403.762.1251.

Follow facebook.com/BanffTown for info on the next Mobile Clinic in Banff with Pfizer vaccines.

Be Kind. Be Safe.
  • Be respectful of others who may choose to wear masks until the community is fully immunized. Follow requirements set by local businesses or organizations.

  • Call 8-1-1 if you have questions about isolation requirements, vaccines or testing.

Visit banff.ca/COVID for daily updates on Banff's case counts, vaccination rates and restrictions. Sign up for emergency alerts at banff.ca/Emergency.
