Share your expertise with the Town of Banff by applying to serve on one of the various boards, commissions, committees or corporations. Anyone who lives in Banff and is 18 years or older can apply. Detailed committee profiles, available positions, and application forms are available at banff.ca/Committees. Submit your application online by October 15. 

Vaccine Bus in Banff

Central Park, September 19, 3 – 7 p.m.
The vaccine bus will be in Central Park this Saturday, offering both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. You can walk up or book a spot in advance at acesomedical.ca/Bookings. No Alberta health care card needed. 


Rail Safety Week

September 20 – 26
Every year, more that 2,100 North Americans are killed or seriously injured in railway crossing and trespassing incidents. Almost all of these incidents are preventable. Terry Fox Run

Sunday, September 19, 10 a.m. 
Take part in the 41st annual Terry Fox Run in support of cancer research. Choose from three run distances, starting from the Little Bow Shelter in the Banff Recreation grounds. Visit banff.ca/Events to learn more. 


Melissa's Park Road Race

Melissa's Park Road Race will be held Saturday, September 25. Visit banff.ca/RoadClosure to find race day road closure information.

The Banff Harvest Festival has been cancelled due to the new provincial Covid-19 restrictions

Be kind and respectful to others. New provincial restrictions are now in place, with additional restrictions coming into effect on September 20. Visit alberta.ca/covid for more information. 

Vaccinations are the best defence against the pandemic. Vaccines are effective in preventing serious illness and death due to COVID-19 and its variants.

Book your vaccine today. Visit banff.ca/COVIDhelp for local vaccine locations. Banff pharmacies, medical clinics and the Banff Community Health Centre have appointments available. The Government of Alberta is now offering a $100 incentive for first or second
vaccinations. 

Get your Pfizer or Moderna vaccine on Sunday, September 19, between 3 and 7 p.m. at the vaccine bus in Central Park.
