You will not receive a voter information card in the mail. In order to vote, you will be required to provide proof of identity and current residence. Learn about the candidates, check if you’re eligible to vote, and identification required at banff.ca/Election.

Proof of vaccination is not required to vote, but voters are required to wear a mask inside the voting station and maintain 2-metres distance from others.

What can you vote on?

Eligible voters who reside within the Town of Banff boundary (shaded green) are eligible to vote for mayor and council, senate nominees, and the provincial referendum questions.

Those who reside outside of the green area, but inside Banff National Park (ID9), can vote for the senate nominee and referendum questions.

Book your vaccine today. Visit banff.ca/COVIDhelp for local vaccine locations. Banff pharmacies, medical clinics and the Banff Community Health Centre have appointments available. The Government of Alberta is offering a $100 incentive for first or second vaccinations until October 14.
