You will not receive a voter information card in the mail. In order to vote, you will be required to provide proof of identity and current residence. Learn about the candidates, check if you’re eligible to vote, and identification required at banff.ca/Election.
Proof of vaccination is not required to vote, but voters are required to wear a mask inside the voting station and maintain 2-metres distance from others.
What can you vote on?
Eligible voters who reside within the Town of Banff boundary (shaded green) are eligible to vote for mayor and council, senate nominees, and the provincial referendum questions.
Those who reside outside of the green area, but inside Banff National Park (ID9), can vote for the senate nominee and referendum questions.
