Facilities closures
Banff Town Hall and Fire Hall are currently closed to public access as a measure to reduce the spread of the new highly contagious Omicron variant of COVID-19. All services remain available online or by phone or email. Visit

Visit banff.ca/CovidHelp for information on COVID support services. Services include grocery delivery, mental health support, vaccination information, and more.
Vaccination drop-in
The Town of Banff is holding a walk-in vaccine clinic on Sunday, January 9, and Monday, January 10 at Town Hall, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All doses are available, including boosters for residents who have had a second dose at least 5 months ago.
Natural Christmas tree disposal
Please dispose your tree at the collection site at the Fire Hall parking lot on Beaver Street, until January 14. Please make sure all decorations and tinsel are removed. Do NOT leave your tree or any other garbage outside neighbourhood bins.
Youth Aquatic Leadership Program
Applications are now being accepted for Banff’s Youth Aquatic Leadership Program. This program provides youth between the ages of 16 and 25 with the funding to obtain the necessary certifications to become a lifeguard, from first aid and Bronze Star, to National Lifeguard. Certified youth will have a chance to interview with the Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation Centre and if hired, receive a $500 honorarium. Learn more at
