Drop-in vaccination clinics

Tuesday, February 1, 1 – 8 p.m.
Wednesday, February 2, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The Town of Banff will be hosting two drop-in vaccine clinics at Town Hall (110 Bear Street). Moderna and Pfizer shots will be available. The clinic is first come, first served. These clinics are open to all over the age of 11, for specifics, please visit banff.ca/CovidHelp. Bring your ID and health care card if you have one. 

SnowDays in Banff

January 19 – 30
Explore giant snow sculptures throughout downtown Banff, stop by the SnowDays Play Zone in the high school field, or test specialty menus at various local restaurants during this annual celebration of winter in Banff. Visit banfflakelouise.com/SnowDays for further event details.

SnowDays will affect vehicular traffic on multiple streets. Learn the specifics at banff.ca/RoadClosure.

Settlement services programs

Settlement Services support Permanent Residents, Live-in Caregivers, Refugees and Temporary Foreign Workers transitioning to permanent status who are living in the Bow Valley, no matter the length of time living in Canada. To view upcoming workshops that touch on business, skills for success in Canada, renting in Canada, and parenting in Canada, visit banff.ca/Settlement. Registration is required.


Snow Removal

Visit banff.ca/Snow to find this week’s snow removal schedule. You must remove your vehicle from specified streets from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. on the day designated.

Help Prevent the Spread. Book your vaccination.

Health Canada has approved vaccines for anyone 5 years old and older. Vaccinations for ages 5 – 11 must be booked through Alberta Health Services. Third doses are available for those 18+ who had their second dose at least 5 months ago. To book an appointment, call 8-1-1 or visit alberta.ca/vaccine. 

Visit banff.ca/COVIDhelp for Banff locations for testing and vaccinations. The Banff Community Health Centre and local pharmacies are distributing rapid tests as supplies become available. Email help@banff.ca for questions about support services.
