Homegrown Art Show

Banff Town Hall is once again hosting the work of artists from throughout the Bow Valley. This community exhibition is aimed at helping young, new and 
emerging artists share and celebrate their work with friends, families and other community members in a welcoming setting. Each artist’s primary residence must be in the Bow Valley. Visit banff.ca/Homegrown for

Community Cruisers bike donation drive

Give your old bike a new life! Donate it to the Community Cruisers in Banff. Donated bikes are available at affordable prices in the annual spring sale. Bike donations can be dropped off at the Banff Hub in The Fenlands on Tuesdays from 5 – 8 p.m. or contact info@communitycruisers.ca to arrange for a pick-up.  

Register for spring and summer programs

The Town of Banff has a wide range of classes, courses, and drop-in sessions for a variety of ages and skill levels. Programs include guided hikes, rock climbing, first aid, art classes, and more. Settlement Services programs

Settlement Services support permanent residents, live-in caregivers, refugees and temporary foreign workers transitioning to permanent status who are living in the Bow Valley, no matter the length of time living in Canada. To view upcoming workshops that touch on parenting in Canada, adjusting to life in the Bow Valley, and tax information sessions, visit banff.ca/Settlement. 


Garden

Greenhouse Applications

Registration is now open for the lottery of plots at the Banff community greenhouses. Residents can apply with the Banff Greenhouse Gardening Society for one of the roughly 80 spaces available. Applications close March 27. Learn more and apply at banff.ca/Greenhouse.

Lake Louise Winter Experience

Wednesday, March 16

9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Experience snowshoeing and skating at Lake Louise. For all levels and abilities. Open to all Banff residents ages 18 – 30. All equipment and transportation is provided. Visit banff.ca/BanffLife for more information and to register.

Snowshoe Marble Canyon

Wednesday, March 30

9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

World Deaf Curling Championships

March 12 – 26

Banff is proud to host the World Deaf Curling Championships at The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre. Spectators are welcome and it's free. The first games are March 12, at 2 p.m., with Ukraine vs. Poland and Canada vs. Japan. Visit assc-cdsa.com for more information. 

Youth Safety and Babysitting Courses

May 2022

The Town of Banff is offering Stay Safe for Youth and the Red Cross Babysitting Certification this May. These programs help youth in responding to emergencies and care taking. Registration is required. Visit banff.ca/Register to find more information, other First Aid courses, and to register.
