Register for spring and summer programs

The Town of Banff has a wide range of classes, courses, and drop-in sessions for a variety of ages and skill levels. Programs include guided hikes, rock climbing, first aid, art classes, and more. Into the Wild

Into the Wild is an after-school program that strengthens children’s bodies, minds, and relationships through immersive nature play led by qualified forest leaders. Program options are available for different ages, and a Parent and Tots program is available. Visit

World Deaf Curling Championship

Banff is proud to host the World Deaf Curling Championships at The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre from March 12 – 26. Spectators are welcome and it’s free. Visit assc-cdsa.com for more information.

Skating rinks closed

The outdoor skating rinks at The Fenlands and the Train Station are closed for the season. Check out indoor public skating and shinny schedules at banff.ca/DropInCalendar. For a range of upcoming indoor and outdoor courses visit banff.ca/Classes.

Greenhouse applications

Registration is now open for the lottery for plots at
the Banff community greenhouses. Residents can apply with the Banff Greenhouse Gardening Society for
one of the roughly 80 spaces available. Applications close March 27. Learn more and apply at

Settlement Services workshop for Parents of children ages 0 – 18

Sundays, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Banff Elementary School

Join other Banff families for a fun morning of indoor unstructured free play. With supervision, your little one will be able to play with others and use the Town’s play equipment. This program is free for Banff residents with a valid membership. Learn more at banff.ca/Motoring.

BanffLIFE Basecamp

Tuesday, March 22

5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
BanffLIFE Basecamp is a drop-in social hangout program for those ages 18 – 30. Hangout with friends, and meet new ones, in a welcoming space that is inclusive to all. Visit banff.ca/BanffLIFE for more details.
