Zero Waste kits for staff accommodation

Are you an employer that provides staff accommodation in Banff? Empower your tenants to move toward zero waste. The Town of Banff provides low-cost kits to staff accommodation providers and landlords, which include compost bins, recycling bins, how-to guides, educational posters, and downloadable signage. Join a virtual workshop on April 7 at 11 a.m. where you'll get tools to reduce, reuse, and recycle at your home. To learn more & sign up for the workshop, contact zero.waste@banff.ca.

Register for Homegrown Art Show

Artists, don't forget to sign up for the Homegrown Art Show. Hosted at Town Hall, and open to Bow Valley residents. The deadline to register is April 11. Learn more at banff.ca/Homegrown.

30 is the new 40

Banff has lowered the speed limit town-wide to 30 km/h, except where posted for slower speeds, such as the 200 block of Bear Street. The change makes it safer for everyone. Details: banff.ca/30kmh.

Community Cruisers bike drive

Give your old bike a new life! Donate it to the Community Cruisers. Donated bikes are available at affordable prices in the annual spring sale. Bike donations can be dropped off at the Banff Hub at The Fenlands on Tuesdays from 5 to 8 p.m. or contact info@communitycruisers.ca to arrange for a pick-up.

Learn to Curl

The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre
Join the Banff Curling Club at The Fenlands for an introduction to the sport of curling. Learn how to throw rocks and sweep. All equipment and some instruction provided. For more information, and to register, visit banffcurlingclub.ca.

Into The Wild spring break camp (K – 5) 

April 4 – 14, 12 – 5:45 p.m.

Into the Wild Spring Break day camps will feature unique activities such as Indigenous-led tour, shelter-building and a nature walk with a local interpretive guide.
