Renormalizing Reuse Workshop
Wednesday, May 11, 10:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Are you an employer in Banff? Do you want to reduce single-use items and help protect Banff National Park for future generations?
Join us for a free virtual workshop to get the facts on how to safely BYO, reuse, and reduce single-use items at your business, in the context of COVID-19.
You’ll hear from a local panel including:
- Kori Woodard from Alberta Health Services will share environmental health guidance on what businesses can and cannot do when it comes to reuse
- Luna Kawano from Banff Isn’t Disposable will share tools to advance reuse practices and reduce single-use items in your business
- Nicole Guillon, Whitebark Cafe, Zero Waste Trailblazer will share how to prioritize BYO, reuse, and to-stay in your food-service business
The Town of Banff will also share information about the Single-Use Item Reduction Strategy along with ways for businesses to get involved and take action. There will be a Q&A session and opportunity for attendees to share challenges and solutions when it comes to reducing single-use items.

This workshop is also open to businesses in Canmore, the MD of Bighorn, and Lake Louise/ID9.
