Take part in the annual Terry Fox Run and raise money for cancer research. Distances include a 1 km, 2 km, 5 km and 10 km. Everyone welcome: Runners, cyclists, rollerbladers, wheelchairs. Living as a Permanent Resident (PR) Info Session
Thursday, September 22, 3 – 4:30 p.m., Banff Town Hall or Zoom online
The first hour of the session covers info about PR status, PR card, English classes, health care, taxes, and your rights and responsibilities. The last 30 minutes is about ways to save money in the Bow Valley with info on free or low-cost programs and services for individuals and families. Register at banff.ca/Settlement.

Bystander Intervention Training

In partnership with the Bow Valley Harmony Project, Banff Lake Louise Hospitality Association is pleased to present this session. Learn how to be an engaged and active bystander, the importance of supporting victims and the effect that trauma can have on a person, drink spiking, and creating safer establishments in the community.
