Join the Banff RCMP for a community discussion at Banff Elementary School. After recent tragic events, our community is concerned about public safety. This will be an opportunity to speak with leadership of the RCMP in southern Alberta as well as local detachment personnel about priorities and strategies to manage issues that affect you. Learn more

MountainLIFE Avalanche Rescue SKills
Saturday, December 3
This sessions covers the essential skills required for avalanche rescue. Banff residents 30+ can join, although it is best to have had some previous avalanche rescue practice using a transceiver, probe, and shovel. The session teaches you safety and effective responses to an emergency including, practicing using transceivers, probes, and shovels, multi-burial and deep burial response and ideas on how to practice on your own. Youth yoga promotes positive body image, healthy thoughts, and will build confidence. For ages 10 – 17, mats provided.
Red Cross Babysitting | November 27, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Learn to manage difficult behaviors, leadership, emergency protocol, and professional conduct as a babysitter.
