The utility bills for the July 1 – September 30 billing period were mailed on October 31 and are due November 30. If you have not received your bill, please contact taxes.utilities@banff.ca.


Tourism Master Plan community open house

Monday, November 21, 4 – 6 p.m.
Banff residents are invited to a community open house on the Tourism Master Plan that’s being developed by Banff & Lake Louise Tourism, Parks Canada, and the Town of Banff. This is a 10-year plan based on input received from community members who participated in surveys or workshops. Book your table at the Community Rummage sale

Book by Wednesday, November 23
The Community Rummage Sale is back! The sale is a great place to sell gently used items like sporting gear, small kitchen appliances, clothing, books, toys, handmade arts and crafts and more. Book your table by November 23 for the November 27 Rummage Sale at banff.ca/Events.


Apply for a committee

Spaces are still open on the Banff Heritage Corporation, the Community Art Committee, and the Assessment Review Board. Apply by Friday, November 25 at banff.ca/Committees.

Settlement Services supports Permanent Residents of Canada, Temporary Foreign Workers transitioning to permanent residency, and Ukrainian nationals who are living in the Bow Valley, no matter the length of time living in Canada. When should you have input?

Tuesday, November 22, 3:30 – 6:30 p.m.
The Town of Banff is developing a public input policy that will guide when and how to collect input on municipal decisions. We’re holding a drop-in session Tuesday, November 22, from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, to gather input on the policy principles. Learn more at BanffViewpoints.ca/PublicInputPolicy. 

Super Smash Bros. Tournament

Tuesday, December 13, 5 – 8 p.m.
Recreational Super Smash Bros. tournament on Nintendo Switch! New to the game or seasoned veteran, come out and play in our round robin tournament. For ages 18 – 30. All controllers will be provided. This event is free, but registration is required. Learn more, and register at banff.ca/BanffLIFE.


Into the Wild Winter Break Camp

December 27 – 30, 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Registration is open for Into the Wild Winter Break Day Camp. For Grades 1 – 5, kids will build snow shelters, snowshoe, toboggan, and much more at the rec grounds. Held December 27 – 30, 2022 & January 2 – 6, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. $64 daily (discounts available for Banff Access Program members). To register, email

In Search of the Christmas Spirit

Starting Wednesday, November 23
Spread throughout the Cascade of Time Garden, In Search of Christmas Spirit is an outdoor Christmas experience available on select nights of the holiday season. 
The experience follows an enchanted trail and is delivered by illuminated sculptures, an engaging story and ingenious sound effects. Learn more and book your spot at
