Throw a log on!

We've temporarily switched over the Bear Street public fireplace so it'll burn wood instead of being powered by natural gas. We're trying it out for the month to see if it should be switched over every winter. Try it out and let us know what you think at BanffViewpoints.ca/Fireplace.

Sign up for alerts!

Smoke Free Banff Bylaw

As of February 1, smoking and vaping of tobacco and nicotine products are not allowed in many places in the Town of Banff. This new bylaw prohibits smoking or vaping in municipal parks, trails and pathways, outdoor markets and events, bus stops, sidewalks, pedestrian zones, and in proximity to children not in one’s care. Smoking cannabis publicly is banned town-wide. To learn more about this change visit banff.ca/SmokeFree.
