The Town of Banff has a new website for residents, visitors and anyone interested in exploring Banff’s rich built heritage. Users can navigate an interactive map of over 170 heritage properties in Banff and learn about the history of each one. To start exploring, visit HeritageFinder.Banff.ca. 

2023 Property Assessments

The 2023 Property Value Assessment Notices were mailed on February 13. If you have not received your notice, please contact 403.762.1230. The appeal deadline is April 14, 2023. For more information regarding Property Value Assessments and Appeals, please visit banff.ca/Assessment. 

Library offering pick-up and delivery

The Banff Public Library offers pick-up and home delivery services to users within the Banff townsite. To arrange these services, contact the library at 403.762.2661 or visit BanffLibrary.ab.ca to fill out the form online.

E-bike rebate available

The e-bike rebate is once again available for Banff residents. New this time, it's available all year, with an unlimited number of Banffites funded and no deadline, so there's no rush for you to buy. Make sure you also take advantage of other active transportation rebates, like snow/ice walking aids and studded bike tires, available until March 31. Homegrown Art Show

Opening Night, Friday March 3, 7 –  9 p.m.
Join the Town of Banff for the Homegrown opening at Banff Town Hall, 110 Bear Street. The exhibition features and celebrates the amazing work of local artists in the Bow Valley. Learn to Skate

Mondays, March 6 – 27 , 6:15 – 7:15 p.m.
Join the Banff Skating Club and learn to skate! This class is for beginners and those who want a little more instruction on the basics of skating. You will learn how to skate forward and backwards, cross overs, balance, how to stop, and the joy of skating! Ages 16+. Registration required. Visit banff.ca/Active to learn more.

BanffLIFE Basecamp

Tuesday, March 7, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.  
BanffLIFE Basecamp is a free drop-in social program for young adults, 18 – 30. This is the best place in town to hangout with friends in a welcoming space that is inclusive to all. Play games, eat sushi, and connect with new friends. Learn more at banff.ca/BanffLIFE.

Golden: Ageism Awareness Film & Discussion

Tuesday, March 7, 5:45 – 7:15 p.m.  
Age-Friendly Communities Across Alberta present a free screening of the documentary Golden, at the Catharine Robb Whyte Building, 101 Bear Street. Spring Equinox Family Celebration

Monday, March 20, 6:30  – 8:30 p.m. 
Spend Spring Equinox celebrating with your family at the Rundle Cabin. Do some crafts, enjoy storytelling, and have some adventures in the forest. The evening will wrap up with you and your family around the fire with a mug of hot chocolate or spiced tea and a treat as we reflect and set intentions for the new season.
