June in Bike Month

Celebrate Bike Month this June, with workshops and events throughout the month! Take the opportunity to try riding a bike for the first time, learn a new skill, or join other cycling enthusiasts! National Seniors Week

Celebrate Seniors Week by lending a hand, or spending some time with a senior this June! Contact dani.roussy@banff.ca to learn about volunteer opportunities with Banff's seniors. For those ages 50+, join a walk around the Fenlands Loop on Sunday, June 4, followed by a free barbecue. Call 403.762.1253 to register.

Volunteer with the Big Red Ride

Are you looking for a fun and healthy volunteer opportunity this summer? We are looking to build a team of reliable, caring, and dedicated individuals to pilot the Big Red Ride, our four-person, fully adaptive, electric-assisted bike. Volunteers must be able to commit to five rides this summer, and be able to attend a training session in June. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the Seniors Support Coordinator at 403.762.1253 or dani.roussy@banff.ca.

First Aid Courses

The Town of Banff offers Red Cross Emergency and Standard First Aid certifications that cover the basics such as CPR and injury response and treatment. Visit banff.ca/FirstAid to learn more and to register.

Try Sports

Try Sports sessions are free or low cost programs that teach you how to play, the rules, and techniques for a specific sport. All equipment and instruction is included with registration. Standup Paddle Boarding, Lake Canoeing, and Golf are just a few of the sports that will be taught this spring. If you have ever wanted to try something new, this is the place to do it. Utility bills for the January 1 – March 31 billing period were mailed on April 28, and are due May 31. If you have not received your bill, please contact taxes.utilities@banff.ca.

The Outsiders Summer Youth Program

Monday – Thursday, July 3 – August 25

Pawsitive Play

Wednesday, June 14, 7 – 8 p.m.
