Banff Ekiden Relay Race
Saturday, October 19
10 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.This five-person relay race is held in Banff with all legs of the relay starting and finishing at the Cave & Basin. An overall distance of 42.2 km, with leg distances varying from 5 km to 11.5 km. Learn more at bethereraces.com.
First Aid Courses

9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Town of Banff offers a selection of first aid courses, including Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and First Aid Re-certification. Register at banff.ca/register.
Canadian Citizenship Information Session

This free session is for Permanent Residents of Canada who are interested in becoming Canadian Citizens. This session takes place at Banff Town Hall. Registration is required, contact: settlement.programmer@banff.ca or 403.762.1144. Free childcare and transportation available upon request.
Living in Canada as a Permanent Resident Session

This is a free session for Permanent Residents or anyone who has already submitted a PR application. Learn about your rights and responsibilities, about no cost English Programs, health care in Canada, housing information, career opportunities and more! Session takes place at Banff Town Hall. Halloween Bonfire

7 – 9 p.m.
Join us for this annual family-friendly Halloween event, sponsored by the Banff Firefighters Association in partnership with the Town of Banff. Enjoy free hot dogs and hot chocolate by the bonfire and enjoy the pyrotechnics show. Don't forget to wear your costumes!
