Have Your Say on
Smoking Regulations

Smoking or vaping cannabis was banned in all public places in Banff when consumption was legalized in 2018. Some people think Banff should relax restrictions to add public places where smoking is allowed. Other people think there should be more enforcement of current rules. What about tobacco? Should Banff add restrictions on where tobacco can be smoked or vaped? Some municipalities added restrictions, such as banning smoking in playgrounds. Should Banff change rules on where cannabis and tobacco can be smoked or vaped? The Town of Banff wants to consider your opinions, along with other factors such as health, financial, and tourism impacts.
