Composting gets more convenient

The Town of Banff has installed neighbourhood food bins in 16 new locations around town to increase diverting of waste from landfill.

Visit BanffZeroWasteTrail.ca to find the food bin nearest you.

To help you get on the Zero Waste Trail, kitchen catcher bins are available for free at Town Hall, Operations Office (120 Hawk Avenue), The Bear Minimum and Banff Food Rescue until supplies run out!

Cross Cultural training

Learn more about the cultural values of our diverse population in Banff. Our community is becoming increasingly diverse. Banff has an immigrant population of 34% who come from more than 60 countries.

Join a free training session discussing and examining culture.

Part 1 is Tuesday, November 19, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. at Banff Town Hall.
Part 2 is Tuesday, February 11, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Santas Anonymous

Santa’s Anonymous is a volunteer community-based program, dedicated to the relief of Banff and Lake Louise community members in financial need during the holiday season. Supported by residents, businesses and community organizations in Banff and Lake Louise since 1984.

Financial donations may be made at Banff Town Hall. Cash, debit or certified cheque donations. Charitable receipts will be issued.

Banff Christmas Market

Banff Trail Riders, Warner Stables The Banff Christmas Market is a traditional European style Christmas Market. Boasting unique products, family-friendly entertainment and an exotic menu of beers, BBQ, mulled wine, and sweets. The Banff Christmas Market creates a warm and inviting environment for families of all ages during the day and an adult atmosphere in the evening. Entry Fee: $7.50 per day or $15 for the weekend.
