    From May 26 to May 28, the Banff Yoga Festival returns to The Fenlands Recreation Centre, bringing together teachers of yoga, meditation and mindfulness from Banff and beyond.The festival features a free yoga market open to the public on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Confederation, The Walrus presents a national tour featuring 50 members of the Order of Canada and 50 youth leaders. Featuring the acclaimed director, writer, and producer Atom Egoyan; artist, scientist, and founder of "Muse: The Brain Sensing Headband," Ariel Garten; community leader and Samara Everyday Political Citizen Cory Nicotine; Massey Fellow Hadiya Roderique; and more.     Open weekly Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday Mondays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 19 - October 1, the Historic Luxton Home tells the story of a Banff family - Norman Luxton, Georgina McDougall Luxton and their daughter Eleanor. The museum features a glimpse into the life of this amazing family and of Banff over a period of nine decades. You will see collections of First Nations artifacts, paintings, china, furniture and more. The Luxton Garden is also part of our historic footprint, with 120 year old lilac trees and a garden designed in the Arts and Craft Style ca. 1910. On weekends in July and August bring a coffee or picnic with the family and try a game of croquet.
