The laughter that comes of sliding on snow is something that everyone should have the chance to experience. SkiBig3 invites kids of all ages to get outside and try out the sport, ski, snowboard or tube! Join certified instructors from SkiBig3 as they provide the expertise and all the equipment necessary to learn the basics of skiing on a mini-slope in downtown Banff. After, celebrate with cup hot chocolate. Ski equipment available for kids only.

Learn about avalanche risks associated with backcountry and out-of-bounds travel – featuring presentations by snow safety experts, films from the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, door prizes and a trade show. This is an outdoor, nature-based program for families with young children. Develop outdoor skills and knowledge while walking local trails.
