  1. Drop-in 50+ Fitness

    January 7, 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM @ 101 Bear Street, above the library, in the Pioneer Room

    50+ Fitness focuses on cardiovascular, coordination, balance and core strength. All abilities welcome. Drop-in 50+ Fitness is held Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30-10:30 a.m. at 101 Bear Street, above the library, in the Pioneer Room from January 7-March 28.

  2. Drop-in Public Skating

    January 7, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM @ The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre

    Drop-in Public Skating is open to everyone. It's held Monday through Friday, 12-1:30 p.m., excluding stat holidays. Helmets recommended.

  3. Monday Lunch for 55+

    January 7, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

    Join a group of adults 55+ every Monday at noon. The first and the third Monday Lunch is at a local restaurant and cost is standard menu pricing. The second and fourth Monday Lunch is served at 101 Bear Street in the Pioneer Room and lunch costs is $7.50. No registration is required. Call 403.762.1251 for restaurant locations.

  4. Drop-in Adult Shinny

    January 7, 12:30 PM - 1:45 PM @ The Fenlands

    Adult Shinny is an informal game of hockey. Players must be 18+ to participate. Full gear is required. Adult Shinny is held Monday through Thursday, 12:30-1:45 p.m. from January 7-March 28 (excluding stat holidays).

  5. The Basement – Youth Drop-in

    January 7, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM @ Banff Canmore Community Foundation

    The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

  6. Yoga — In Japanese

    January 7, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ The Fenlands - Facilities - Meeting Room 1

    This yoga class is taught in Japanese. Learn how to clear your mind and be present to deepen your practice. Yoga is about getting closer to your true nature. You will explore four different styles of yoga: Flow, Yin, Yin & Yang and Ashtanga during this eight-week program. For ages 16+. Register online at banff.ca/register or call 403.762.1251.

    Yin/Yang Yoga blends two styles of yoga bringing together the benefits of passive yoga poses with more dynamic sequences and standing postures. For ages 16+. This drop-in class is held Mondays, January 7-March 25 (excluding stat holidays) at 101 Bear Street, above the library, in the Pioneer Room.
