    The Festive Season is about to begin! This weekend kicks-off the count down to the Christmas Holidays in Banff. The town is ready to welcome you into the spirit with family friendly events, festive lights, and the Santa Claus Parade! The Banff Gallery Hop venues will be festive too - join artists as they create (Canada House, Mountain Galleries), hear carolers (Carter-Ryan Gallery) and poetry (Willock & Sax), take tours (Walter Phillips Gallery, Whyte Museum), make your own Indigenous style beadwork (Buffalo Nations), try your hand at crafting bees-wax wraps (Historic Luxton Home), and certainly an array of Christmas gift possibilities abound and all locations.   1. Emergency First Aid & First Aid Recertification

    November 16, 2019, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM @ The Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre

    Learn basic life support skills you can use while you wait for emergency responders. Focus is on casualty assessment, airway management, bleeding control and injury prevention. First Aid recertification for Standard First Aid course runs at the same time. Both programs are Occupational Health & Safety approved. Ages 16+.

    Learn life support skills for the emergency responder. Great for those who may experience delay times prior to the arrival of emergency services, or who work in an industrial or high-risk setting. Occupational Health & Safety approved. Ages 16+.

    An hour-long drop-in program for children ages 0-6 and their parents/caregivers. We explore a different theme each week featuring rhymes, songs, stories, crafts, and play which help to promote positive adult-child interaction and healthy brain development. Snacks are provided.
