You are invited to join us in celebrating Indigenous Peoples throughout the month of June at Banff Centre. Make your own double-wrapped beaded Moose Hide bracelet. Led by Dene Chipewyan artist Suzan Marie, this beginner-level all ages activity encourages artistic exploration and conversation about the ways in which we create wearable art. All materials provided. Everyone is welcome. Class size is limited, registration recommended. Participants may register online or email Public_Programs@banffcentre.ca to register for classes. The Basement is a new youth drop-in centre below the Banff Canmore Community Foundation. It’s a space where youth can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music, or just socialize. There are board games, foosball, shuffleboard, instruments, books, WiFi and a popcorn machine. There will be weekly activities – rock climbing, skateboarding, bowling and more. Healthy snacks available daily. This program is generously supported by the Pauw Foundation. For Grades 7-10.

The Sally Borden Building at the Banff Centre is home to a 25-metre pool, hot tub, wading pool and steam room. Lifejackets are provided at no charge. You can rent towels, purchase swim diapers and other aquatic accessories. Public swimming is supported in part by the Town of Banff. Pool schedules are subject to change.
