  1. Outdoor Dance Conditioning Class

    August 26, 2020, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Banff Community High School Field

    A fun outdoor workout for your body and brain that will uplift your spirit. This class will have a thorough warm-up for joint mobility and ease, get your heart rate up with easy combos and technique, challenge your brain with some simple choreography, and finish with dance-based movement for strength and stretch. Dance makes you agile, flexible, and strong and the music will make you smile. Movements will be drawn from Ballet, Belly dance, Bollywood, Burlesque, Contemporary, Diva, Hip Hop, Ecstatic, Flamenco, Latin and Polynesian dance forms. No dance background needed, just an open heart! Ages 16+. Registration required. Class will run rain or shine.

  2. Parent and Baby Fitness Class

    August 26, 2020, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Whyte Museum - back outdoor green space

    This free Family Resource Network outdoor class is designed for parents to attend with babies who are not yet walking. Wear your baby in a carrier or bring a car seat, stroller, or blanket with toys. You will be led through a warm up, low impact exercises and then a cool down with gentle yoga poses. Led by Kim Mayberry: Dance, Fitness and Yoga Instructor, behind the Whyte Museum. Registration required. Please bring your own water bottle, yoga mat and/or long towel.

    Summer Get Out is a drop-in program for Grades 7-10 to hang out. You decide the agenda, choosing the activities and sports you want to play. Snacks, beverages and small giveaways each week!
