The Banff Farmers Market is held every Wednesday in the summer in Central Park. Vendors offer everything from fruits and vegetables to artisan crafts.

Do you live in Banff? Come join this free community dinner and conversation, intended to gather information for the 2023 Community Social Assessment. We are asking: How can you live your best life in Banff? The Community Social Assessment aims to create a snapshot in time of the community’s social well-being and vitality - our strengths, assets and opportunities, along with our issues and challenges. This picture helps us to determine how to best direct support and close existing gaps. It also serves as an incentive to encourage new thinking and action to respond to opportunities and issues alike. In order to support community well-being, it is crucial to have a detailed understanding of the social picture of one’s community. You’re talking, we’re listening!

Pilates is that full body workout that has your instructor leading you through a warm-up with lots of stretching, followed by controlled movements that isolate specific muscle groups, especially your core, improving coordination and balance. Pilates is a low-impact workout, great for those recovering from an injury. Open to all genders and abilities. Ages 16+

Enjoy a delicious lunch of homemade soup, salad, tea/coffee. Community resources, information on current programs, events and activities are always on hand. Everyone is welcome

Play on Banff's only indoor turf. Invite your friends and use the turf on your own terms - soccer skills & drills, casual run, exercise, lacrosse, or rugby are some of the popular activities. All Ages. Children 6 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Basement is a free youth drop-in space where your child can hang out, play games, do homework, work on art projects, create music or just socialize with a youth leader. Healthy snacks provided. This program is for students in Grades 5 to 8.

Come to the Family Fun Zone at The Fenlands and have some fun with the whole family. Parents or guardians with kids can play basketball, table tennis, badminton, giant Lego, or enjoy some arts and crafts, board games and much more. All Ages. Parent or guardian supervision required. Drop in. No registration required.

Netball is a ball sport played by two teams of seven players. Games are played on a rectangular court with raised goal rings at each end. Each team attempts to score goals by passing a ball down the court and shooting it through its goal ring. Come out and join other locals while working up a sweat and learn a fun new game. Ages 16+

Join others in a fun game of pickup volleyball. You can work on your serves, volleys and setting in a great social setting. Volleyballs and nets provided. Ages 16+

Join the Bow Valley SPCA for advice and tips on preparing you and your dog for fun times at the dog park and in the community. Session for humans only! All program fees will be donated to the Bow Valley SPCA. All ages

Learn about the weight room, the spin room, and the yoga room. -For Permanent Residents of Canada, Refugees, and Ukrainians (CUAET) -Participants must be at least 16 years old -No experience necessary -Transportation from Banff on ROAM Transit is provided Registration required. The Banff Municipal Planning Commission reviews and makes decisions on development and subdivision applications and advises council on amendments to the Land Use Bylaw. Meetings are held in the second Wednesday of each month at 9 a.m. in the Council Chamber and are open to public.
